Hammer & Stain Tempe was opened its doors in September 2019 by Lauren Bogush Castro—a former 2nd grade teacher with a lifelong love for creativity. After years in the classroom, Lauren followed her passion for DIY and opened her own craft studio, turning her dream into a reality.

Since then, she’s hosted hundreds of hands-on workshops and welcomed thousands of craft lovers through her doors. What started as a local studio has grown into a nationwide creative movement. Now, Lauren’s most popular workshops are available to enjoy at home—so anyone, anywhere, can experience the magic of crafting something beautiful.
